Fellowship Programs
The Institute for Relational Change is more than a training space, it is a community where clinicians are developed, supported, and challenged to grow into impactful, self-aware practitioners. Grounded in a systemic and holistic approach to healing, we are a vibrant and highly skilled collective of master’s-level and post-master’s-level clinicians committed to meaningful relational work.
We are continuously seeking clinicians who are passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges while deepening our own clinical identity and voice.
Master-Level Fellowship Program
The Master-Level Fellowship Program is designed for graduate students who are ready to begin doing systemic clinical work.
This immersive experience allows fellows to build confidence and competence through hands-on opportunities, including:
- Building and managing their own caseload through reduced-fee services
- Observing experienced clinicians in real clinical settings
- Participating as co-therapists
- Working directly with individuals, couples, and families
- Designing and facilitating their own therapy groups
Fellows also participate in a systemic-based Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) theories course, gaining a strong foundation in relational frameworks that guide effective clinical practice.
This program offers more than hours, it offers mentorship, real-world experiences, and a supportive environment where emerging clinicians can begin to find their voice.
Post-Master Fellowship Program
The Post-Master Fellowship Program is designed for early-career clinicians seeking to deepen their clinical work while working toward licensure.
Fellows in this program engage in meaningful, high-impact work while continuing to grow professionally. Opportunities include:
- Providing therapy to uninsured and underinsured individuals, couples, and families across Pennsylvania
- Earning supervised clinical hours toward licensure
- Participating in both individual and group supervision
- Engaging in monthly staff collaboration and learning
In addition to advanced clinical training, fellows participate in a systemic-based MFT theories course to strengthen their conceptual and relational approach to therapy.
This program also provides exposure to private practice development, offering insight into what it takes to build and sustain a practice. Fellows are encouraged to:
- Process and conceptualize complex clinical cases
- Engage in ongoing self-exploration
- Strengthen their clinical identity and approach
Our Commitment to Your Growth
At the Institute for Relational Change, we believe that becoming an effective therapist requires more than learning interventions, it requires becoming deeply aware of who you are in the room.
Our programs are intentionally designed to support growth in both professional skill and personal development. We emphasize:
- A deep appreciation for lived experiences
- An understanding of how stigma and systemic barriers impact clients
- Ongoing self-reflection and personal awareness
- A commitment to the power of relationships as the foundation of healing
We are dedicated to developing clinicians who don’t just treat, but connect, reflect, and transform lives through intentional, relational work.
we believe in offering affordable therapy service to the disenfranchised, uninsured, under insured and all who seek treatment.
